InvestPak Portal Launched to Make Government Securities Investment Easier

The InvestPak Portal has been launched in Karachi to make investing in government securities easier for both individual and corporate investors. Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb introduced the online platform on Monday, saying it is designed to improve access to investment opportunities through a digital system. The portal allows eligible investors to begin investing with as little as Rs5,000, without visiting a bank branch.

Finance Minister Launches the Digital Platform

The online InvestPak Portal was officially launched during a ceremony in Karachi. The platform has been introduced by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to provide a simple and digital way for people and businesses to invest in government securities.

During the launch event, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb said the government is focused on providing maximum convenience to investors. He added that digital solutions are being introduced to improve access to investment opportunities across the country.

Portal Designed for Individual and Corporate Investors

According to the information shared at the ceremony, the InvestPak Portal is available for both individual and corporate investors.

The digital platform removes the need to visit a bank branch, allowing users to complete the investment process online through a modern system.

Government Aims to Improve Investment Access

Addressing the gathering, Muhammad Aurangzeb said the government remains committed to promoting investment by making the process easier for investors.

He said the portal has been introduced to encourage greater participation in government securities while offering a more convenient online experience.

Investment Can Start from Rs5,000

One of the main features highlighted during the launch was the minimum investment amount.

According to the Finance Minister, retail investors can now begin investing in government securities with as little as Rs5,000.

This lower entry amount is intended to make investment opportunities more accessible through the new digital platform.

Mobile Wallet Payments Supported

The Finance Minister also said that investors can use a mobile wallet such as JazzCash to make their investments.

This feature allows eligible individuals to complete the investment process from home, making the system more convenient for users who prefer digital financial services.

Digital System Introduced to Promote Investment

The government says the new portal has been introduced to support investment through a modern online system.

Officials believe the digital platform will make it easier for investors to participate in government securities without the need for physical visits to financial institutions.

The InvestPak Portal is expected to provide a simpler investment process while expanding access to government securities through digital technology.
