FBISE SSC 2026 results out as Part-II pass rate hits 91.33%

ISLAMABAD, July 29, 2026 — The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced its SSC Part-I and Part-II First Annual Examination 2026 results, with Part-II recording a 91.33% overall pass rate. Federal Education Minister Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui formally announced the results at a ceremony in Islamabad.

FBISE reveals SSC Part-I and Part-II pass rates

According to the results announced by FBISE, 150,077 candidates were enrolled in SSC Part-I, with 88,646 students passing the examination. The overall pass percentage stood at 59.77%.

SSC Part-II recorded a much higher success rate. Of the 141,653 enrolled candidates, 128,070 were declared successful, taking the overall pass percentage to 91.33%.

FBISE Chairman Prof Dr Ikram Ali Malik said a total of 292,831 candidates appeared in the SSC Part-I and Part-II annual examinations this year.

The Board established 1,006 examination centres, while 2,012 supervisory staff members and 6,996 invigilators were deployed to conduct the examinations.

Afeera Ijaz tops FBISE Science Group

In the Science Group, Afeera Ijaz secured first position with 1,089 marks.

Amna Nauman finished second with 1,088 marks, just one mark behind the top position, while Huzaifa Haider secured third place with 1,086 marks.

In the Humanities Group, Fatima Zahra claimed first position with 1,037 marks.

Muhammad Maaz and Manaal Zahid jointly secured second position with 1,031 marks each, while Aneesa Nisar finished third with 1,023 marks.

FBISE uses AI for marking for first time

The FBISE chairman also highlighted changes in the examination and marking process, saying artificial intelligence (AI) was used for marking for the first time.

According to the Board, 10,706 teachers applied for paper marking, while 4,855 examiners were engaged to check answer scripts.

The chairman said 86 unfair means cases were reported during the examinations.

The results were formally announced by Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui during the Islamabad ceremony, where FBISE officials also briefed participants on the conduct of the examinations and the Board's performance.
