Germany Offers Job Opportunities to Skilled Pakistani Workers

ISLAMABAD: Germany has opened employment opportunities for skilled Pakistani workers through its official Make it in Germany portal. The platform allows qualified professionals to explore vacancies in several fields, including information technology, healthcare, engineering, science and skilled trades. The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment has also shared details of the available opportunities for Pakistanis seeking work in Germany.

The official portal lists positions for IT professionals, nurses, engineers, doctors, scientists, craftspeople and other skilled workers.

Interested applicants can review available vacancies and further employment information through the German government’s Make it in Germany website.

Germany has also introduced new laws to attract qualified workers, particularly professionals working in the technology sector.

The updated system provides different residency routes and clearer visa requirements for international IT experts and skilled workers.

Under the new framework, eligible foreign professionals can receive easier access to employment and residency benefits based on policies set by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.

The salary thresholds included in the programme have been fixed since January 2026.
