Gold prices in Pakistan saw a massive decline as international gold rates continued to fall in the global market, giving local buyers some much-needed relief. According to the latest market updates, 24-karat gold per tola became cheaper by Rs. 15,500 and settled at Rs. 476,862. Meanwhile, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams dropped by Rs. 13,289, closing at Rs. 408,832. Similarly, 22-karat gold per 10 grams also witnessed a decline and reached Rs. 374,776. Silver prices followed the same trend, with per tola silver falling by Rs. 972 to settle at Rs. 8,232. Traders say the sharp decline is mainly linked to falling international bullion prices and changing investor sentiment in global markets. The latest reduction is being viewed as a positive opportunity for jewelry buyers, especially ahead of the wedding season in Pakistan.
