Onic Packages
Onic is Pakistan’s newest network, launched by PTCL (Ufone’s parent company) as a digital-first, app-based service. There are no USSD codes everything is managed through the Onic app.

We recommend trying Onic as a secondary SIM first before committing. If you’re in Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad with good PTCL coverage, Onic is genuinely the best data deal available.
SCOM Packages
SCOM (Special Communication Organization) operates exclusively in AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan. It’s the only network with coverage in many remote northern areas.

Our take: SCOM is expensive per GB compared to mainstream networks, but in northern areas, it’s your only option.
If you’re travelling to Hunza, Skardu, Naran, or interior AJK, buy a SCOM SIM before you leave your Jazz, Zong, or Telenor SIM will likely have no signal. SCOM SIMs are available at service centres in Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, and Skardu.
