
Online Hajj Registrations Cross 308,000 for 2027-2030
ISLAMABAD: Online Hajj registrations for 2027 to 2030 have crossed 308,000, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The registered applicants include 181,000 men and 127,000 women, showing strong public use of the digital registration system. Citizens can complete the process through the official Hajj web portal or the Pak Hajj mobile application.
Official figures show that 222,000 applicants selected the government Hajj scheme, while 86,000 people chose the private scheme.
The ministry said the registration system has attracted applicants from different educational backgrounds. The registered group includes 3,000 PhD scholars, 45,000 master’s degree holders and 60,000 university graduates.
Age data shows that 76,000 applicants are between 33 and 44 years old, making this group a major part of the current registrations.
Following the response to online registration, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has indicated that Hajj dues may also be collected digitally.
A ministry spokesperson said the modern Hajj Management System had improved access to information and communication. Applicants can now register through the mobile application and web portal without repeatedly visiting banks or waiting in long queues.
The ministry expects the registration total to increase further.
