
Over 232,000 Pakistanis Register for Hajj 2027–2030 Online
Over 232,000 Pakistanis have completed online registration for Hajj 2027–2030 within the first two weeks of the process, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The registration process is continuing through the Pak Hajj App and online portal, allowing applicants to apply from home. The ministry said the process is ongoing without interruption until further instructions are issued.
Registration Process and Early Response
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, more than 232,000 prospective pilgrims completed their online registration during the initial 14 days. The process has been carried out through the Pak Hajj App and official online portal, providing convenience to applicants across the country.
Officials stated that the registration process remains open and is continuing smoothly. Applicants are being allowed to register under both government and private schemes as part of the Hajj policy for 2027–2030.
Government and Private Hajj Scheme Selection
Data from the ministry shows that out of the total registered applicants, around 175,000 individuals opted for the Government Hajj Scheme, while approximately 58,000 applicants selected the Private Hajj Scheme.
This distribution reflects participation in both available categories, as pilgrims continue to complete their applications during the ongoing registration phase.
Provincial Registration Breakdown
Provincial figures shared by the ministry show a significant number of registrations from across the country. More than 108,000 applicants registered from Punjab, while 71,000 came from Sindh.
In addition, around 33,000 applicants were registered from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reflecting widespread participation from different regions of Pakistan.
Gender Distribution of Applicants
The registered applicants include 136,000 men and 96,000 women, according to official data. The ministry noted that both male and female applicants are participating actively in the registration process for the upcoming Hajj cycles.
Government Statement on Registration Policy
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has clarified that online registration for Hajj 2027–2030 will continue without interruption. Officials said the process will remain open until further instructions are issued.
During a separate statement, officials also highlighted key policy points regarding the registration system for upcoming Hajj operations.
Key Policy Details Announced
It was stated that Hajj registration will be completely free of charge, and no registration fee will be collected from applicants. The process will follow a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring transparency in selection.
Officials further confirmed that registration has been made mandatory for both government and private Hajj schemes. They added that applications for Hajj 2027 will not be accepted without prior registration.
Requirements for Applicants
According to the ministry, a valid passport is mandatory for all applicants, with a minimum validity requirement extending until 26 November 2027.
Officials also stated that members of a single family are allowed to register jointly. In addition, overseas Pakistanis are also eligible to take part in the registration process.
Registration Channels and Public Facility
The ministry confirmed that registration can be completed through designated banks across the country, in addition to the online portal. An online facility has also been introduced to make the process easier and more accessible for the public.
Authorities said the aim is to ensure a smooth and transparent registration system for all prospective pilgrims ahead of Hajj 2027–2030.
The registration process will continue in the coming period as more applicants are expected to complete their submissions through both online and bank channels.
