PAA Issues Travel Security Guidelines for Staff in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has issued new travel and security instructions for employees travelling to or stationed in Balochistan. Staff members have been strongly advised to prioritise air travel and follow additional precautions when travelling by road within the province.

Employees deployed at airports in Balochistan must inform their department heads about their travel plans.

The authority has also directed staff not to share details of their travel within Balochistan on social media.

Employees who need to travel by road must conceal PAA logos and keep their official identities confidential during the journey.

In an emergency, staff members must immediately contact nearby security forces and inform their respective airport managers.

The guidelines also advise employees to avoid unnecessary movement in public places and refrain from travelling through the province in groups.
