Saudi Arabia Launches One-Year Multiple-Entry Umrah Visa

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched a multiple-entry Umrah visa that allows pilgrims to visit the Kingdom several times during its 365-day validity period. Visa holders may stay in Saudi Arabia for a cumulative total of up to 90 days, giving international pilgrims greater flexibility to plan multiple Umrah journeys during the year.

The visa will remain valid for one year from its date of issuance, subject to Saudi Arabia’s applicable regulations and entry requirements.

For every visit, pilgrims will be required to purchase a service package from an approved provider through the Nusuk platform.

The duration of each service package must not exceed the number of permitted days remaining on the visa.

Pilgrims must also obtain an Umrah permit through the Nusuk application before arriving in Saudi Arabia. The permit dates must correspond with the approved service package.

For the first journey, applicants must purchase a service package, submit their visa application and complete all required procedures before travelling.

Saudi authorities will record each entry and departure to calculate the number of days used and the remaining permitted stay.

For every subsequent journey, visa holders must purchase a new service package, obtain a fresh Umrah permit through Nusuk and complete the required entry procedures before returning to the Kingdom.
