According to the data, Karachi has the highest reported price at Rs2,900 per 20kg bag. In Islamabad, Quetta, and Khuzdar, the same bag is selling for up to Rs2,800, while consumers in Peshawar are paying as much as Rs2,750.

The Bureau of Statistics data also shows varying flour prices across other cities.
In Rawalpindi, a 20kg flour bag is available for Rs2,747, followed by Hyderabad at Rs2,740 and Bannu at Rs2,700. The price stands at Rs2,560 in Sukkur and Rs2,500 in Larkana.

Consumers Feel the Pressure
The continued increase in flour prices is putting additional pressure on household budgets, especially for low- and middle-income families.
Consumers say the rising cost of essential food items, along with higher electricity, gas, and fuel prices, has reduced their purchasing power. They have urged the government to take effective steps to stabilize prices and provide relief on essential commodities.
