Pakistanis Get Immediate Relief as Fuel Prices Drop Significantly Nationwide

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a major reduction in petroleum prices across Pakistan, providing much needed relief to millions of citizens amid rising living costs.

Under the revised prices, petrol has been reduced by Rs74 per litre, bringing its price down from Rs373.78 to Rs299.78 per litre. High Speed Diesel (HSD) has been reduced by Rs67 per litre, lowering its price from Rs378.78 to Rs311.78 per litre.

The government said the reductions were possible due to declining international oil prices and improving global market conditions.

Revised Fuel Prices

The reduction is expected to provide relief to households, transport operators, businesses, farmers, and industries that heavily rely on fuel.

Fuel prices directly impact transportation, logistics, agriculture, and the prices of everyday goods, meaning the announcement could help ease inflationary pressure across the country.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the government is fulfilling its promise by passing on the benefits of lower international oil prices directly to the public.
