UET Lahore Admissions 2026: Apply Before July 15 Deadline

Students can choose their preferred programs while submitting the online admission application. Final admission is offered strictly according to merit, seat availability, and the candidate's selected preferences.

Change of Preference Option

Students who receive admission but want to switch to another eligible program can submit a Single Program Change of Preference request.

The facility will remain open from August 28 to August 30, 2026, with a processing fee of Rs. 1,500.

The updated merit list for preference changes will be announced on September 1, 2026.

Admissions for Leftover and Vacant Seats

After completion of the fourth merit list, UET Lahore will begin admissions for leftover, non-selected, and non-reported candidates.

The schedule is:

• Online applications: September 2–7, 2026

• Merit List: September 8, 2026

• Fee Submission: September 10, 2026

Applicants applying during this phase will pay an application fee of Rs. 3,000.

Walk-in Admissions

Walk-in admissions will begin from September 11 to September 15, 2026, depending on vacant seats and minimum merit.

Admissions during this phase will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to merit and seat availability.

Subsequent merit lists, if required, will be announced every Friday.

Orientation, Hostel and Classes

According to the revised schedule:

• Registration numbers and departmental orientation begin: September 22, 2026

• Hostel allotment (subject to availability): August 31, 2026

• Regular classes commence: September 7, 2026

Students are advised to regularly check the university portal for any further revisions.

Important Note for Applicants

The university has also announced that after the fourth merit list:

• Leftover candidates

• Non-selected candidates

• Candidates with additional preferences

• Non-reported candidates

will have their previous program preferences removed. These students must submit their preferences again through the official UET admission portal according to the prescribed procedure.
