Fire Breaks Out on Brooklyn Bridge During Macy's Fourth of July
A fire broke out on the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday night, just as the Macy's Fourth of July fireworks display was taking place nearby. The FDNY (Fire Department of New York) responded to the scene after reports of a rubbish fire on the bridge.
The fire started after 9:30 p.m. on the Manhattan-bound side of the bridge. According to officials, the fire was likely caused by the fireworks display happening at the same time.
So far, there are no reports of any injuries linked to the fire.
Soon after the fire broke out, videos began circulating online, showing large flames on the bridge as the fireworks lit up the sky in the background.
This is a developing story, and further updates are expected as more information becomes available.
