Free Wi‑Fi Launched In Peshawar For Citizens And Students
PESHAWAR: The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, on Friday formally inaugurated a new “Open Wi‑Fi” service in Peshawar, officials said.
Under the project, free internet will be available at key public areas across the city, starting with the first phase rollout in major locations.
Officials said the plan also includes providing free Wi‑Fi access to government universities and colleges, aiming to help students stay connected.
The initiative is part of a broader effort by the KP government to improve digital connectivity for citizens and support communication and online learning.
