
Pakistan Currency Rates Today USD GBP SAR AED
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani rupee continued trading against major world currencies today with the U.S. dollar, British pound, Saudi riyal and UAE dirham showing active demand in the open market, currency traders said.
According to the latest open market figures, 1 U.S. dollar was valued around Rs. 279, while 1 British pound traded near Rs. 378 against the Pakistani rupee, reflecting steady forex activity. The Saudi riyal and UAE dirham were also trading around Rs. 75 and Rs. 76 respectively.
Currency dealers said that exchange rates can vary slightly between cities such as Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad due to local demand and supply. They advised citizens and businesses to check rates at licensed currency exchanges before making transactions.
These figures are used by importers, exporters and foreign exchange bureaus to price goods and remittances, and they may differ marginally from interbank or official central bank data.
