Pakistani Passport Offers Visa-Friendly Access to 30 Destinations
Pakistani passport holders can access 30 destinations through visa-free entry, visa-on-arrival or electronic travel authorisation arrangements, according to the July 2026 Henley Passport Index update. The Pakistani passport remains ranked 100th globally, while summer travel demand is at its peak. These travel options are available across Asia, Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific.
Pakistan’s passport was ranked 103rd in 2025, with access to around 31 destinations. It moved to 98th place in January 2026 with 31 destinations and improved further to 97th in February with access to 32 destinations.
The ranking later dropped to 100th place in May, when the number of available destinations fell to 30. It retained the same position and travel access in the latest July update.
Pakistani travellers can enter Barbados, Cook Islands, Dominica, Haiti, Micronesia, Montserrat, Rwanda, St Vincent and the Grenadines, The Gambia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Vanuatu without a visa.
Visa-on-arrival facilities are available in Burundi, Cambodia, Cape Verde Islands, Comoro Islands, Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar, Maldives, Nepal, Niue, Palau Islands, Samoa, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Timor-Leste and Tuvalu.
Travellers visiting Kenya, Seychelles and Sri Lanka are required to obtain an electronic travel authorisation before departure.
The Henley Passport Index ranks 199 passports across 227 destinations using International Air Transport Association data. Passport positions can change when countries introduce new visa rules, remove restrictions or revise travel agreements.
Pakistani travellers have been advised to check the latest entry requirements before departure, as visa and travel policies may change.
