Pakistani Rupee Remains Stable Against Major Global Currencies

KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee remained stable against major international currencies as the State Bank of Pakistan released its official mark-to-market exchange rates for July 21, 2026. The US dollar was valued at Rs277.9210, while the Saudi riyal, UAE dirham and British pound were quoted at Rs74.0254, Rs75.6721 and Rs373.5398, respectively.

The Saudi riyal stood at Rs74.0254, remaining an important reference rate for Pakistani families receiving remittances from Saudi Arabia.

The UAE dirham was recorded at Rs75.6721. The currency is widely used by Pakistani businesses and professionals connected with the United Arab Emirates.

The British pound sterling was valued at Rs373.5398, making it one of the higher-priced international currencies against the Pakistani rupee.

Among other Gulf currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar recorded the highest value at Rs903.2208.

The Bahraini dinar stood at Rs737.0445, while the Qatari riyal was quoted at Rs76.2420.

The Canadian dollar was valued at Rs197.5695, while the Australian dollar traded at Rs195.1423.

These official rates are used as reference values for foreign exchange transactions, international payments and remittances.
